I volunteered for my first tournament as an usher and watched Fernando play three matches. Unlike many other players, he was kind to the fans, ball kids, etc. even when he was losing. I appreciate athletes with heart and Fernando has a ton of it.

Love watching his games,
His opponents are in flames.
When he wins, I’m glad,
When he loses, it’s not bad.
Keeps his smiling and his fighting,
All his matches are exciting.
Is it clay or is it grass,
I always raise glass.
I sing: he’s the best,
Hoping God bless!

The first time I watched Fernando Verdasco was in 2009 at the Australian Open semifinals. After watching that match and seeing how hard he fought, how much he believed in himself, and how intense he was, I knew I was a fan. The fact that he could still manage to smile, even when he lost a point, is exactly why I like Fer.

I literally have every shirt that Verdasco has worn that is Adidas, he is always setting the trends in fashion and as soon as he has a new shirt out, I can't help myself to buy.

Add to that he is a world class player who can crush the ball at will, which equals the most fashionable most exciting tennis player on the planet.

I am so glad that Verdasco and Adidas are partners (My favourite combination in Tennis!).

Using only a hundred words to describe Fernando may be more difficult than learning the entire dictionary by heart. Moreover, I doubt any of the words it contains could fully express how his fans feel about him. Throughout his career, people did not always find it easy to remain his fan. But every time again, he draws you back in. Whether it is his pure talent, charm or just the willingness to keep going out there and play.

All of his true fans would give him a hundred marks out of a hundred.

A hundred words out of a hundred…

Well, there are many reasons to love Fernando. He's passionate, he leaves his heart in the court in every single match he plays, he's extremely talented...

Not only he inspires me to try to improve my game, more importantly he makes me wanna be a better person overall.
Watching him, I learned the real meaning of fighting and never giving up, and I think that's one of the most valuable lessons you can get.

So, for his wonderful strokes, the beauty of his game and his golden guts, that's why I love Fernando Verdasco.

I will never give up on Fernando Verdasco! He has always been one of my favorites on the tennis court, but not just cause of his looks. :) He has style and talent, and I have never given up on him! Just today he has shown he still has the passion for tennis and I am ever confident in his abilities to keep going strong. I love Fernando because he is a fighter and even though sometimes he has mental breakdowns, he is strong and always come back! He is resilient, that’s why I love him.

I love Fernando because as hot as he looks, he's also a genuinely nice person. He's kind to his fans and I would never forget the one time he signed the Espana flag for me after a practice. It was a very personable moment and I was in awe. Of course I love watching Nando play too, especially when he's on his game. That Australian semifinal match with Rafa in 09 was unforgettable. Nando has struggled lately and I mostly feel sad and bad for him but I know that he'll get his game figured out again soon and be back at his best. Best of luck to him always. Vamos Nando!

It'll leave him sterile, the poor bastard.

During the match versus Almagro, he was wearing that Electrcity w/High Energy t-shirt that he seemed a flame dancing in the middle of the court! My TV does not even support that kind of colors!

The reason I enjoy watching Fernando Verdasco play is because of his unique game. He is left handed like me and he did an amazing job last year when I saw him play in San Jose, CA. I support him because he's a Spaniard. Me being Latino with much of my blood being from Spain I am proud to see Spaniards as dominating in tennis during these times. Vamos Verdasco! Looking forward to watching you live tonight in Mexico!

He is a very good player. Make a lot of good tournaments earlier in his career. I really like his style of play. Most I like his game on clay. 4-5 years ago I watched his first match. I watched his 2-3 start in the tournament. Then played very well and since then I have a very big fan of his. When Fernando play can make you feel a certain thrill that can not be described. Just his aggressiveness makes you shudder to every point. But mostly I like it because it is polite to everyone - with fans, ball kids, even when losing.
