Video: Andy Murray talks Novak, Andre, Kim and much more with Sir David Frost
Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 11:20AM Andy Murray, who doesn't regularly do long television interviews, sat down with Sir David Frost in Monte-Carlo and had a very, at times, personal chat that gives us much more insight into his world. They talked about his rivalry with Novak Djokovic that has been around since they were kids, how he idolized Andre Agassi to the point that had all his clothes as well as a hat with a blond wig attached to the back (ahaha), whether an Olympic Medal or a Grand Slam title is more important (he'd take either), and then his girlfriend of 7 years Kim Sears (this is a funny moment in the interview):
Frost: You're not secretly married are you?
Andy: No, not yet. No matter how much she is pushing me. I haven't fallen for it yet.
Hmmm....
He also talks about his parents divorce when he was 9 which he admits was a difficult time for him. He shares a bit about his dad who we don't hear about often because his mother, Judy Murray, is usually a staple in his box at tournaments. But, his dad does come to some of his matches - he was at the Australian Open this year and also comes to Wimbledon every year.
It's a long interview, but definitely worth a listen, so press PLAY! Enjoy!
