The Rory Factor

According to The Business Insider, Rory McIlroy has practically destroyed Caroline Wozniacki's career, and they have constructed a chart to prove it.   The green line represents the date (7/18/2011) that Wozzilory was born.  From the article accompanying this graph:

As you can see, Wozniacki has completely collapsed. She won five tournaments in the six months before she dated Rory, but she's only won one in the 11 months since.

She has failed to make the quarterfinals in 10 of her last 18 tournaments. Before Rory, she missed the quarters in five of 13 tournaments.

She hasn't won anything since last August, and now she's in the middle of the worst stretch of her career.

So it's official, it's all Rory's fault.

Just to put it out there, I don't think this is all Rory's fault.  There are many factors involved, and perhaps he is one of them, but even though she lost in the 1st round at Wimbledon, she played an amazing match, and I think (I hope) it will all come together for her soon.   Check out this article from Beyond The Baseline that explains why her first round exit was not as bad as it was made to seem in the press.
