"Worst Day Ever" End of a Great Season for Sam Querrey

Talk about lousy luck!!  Rising American Tennis Star Sam Querrey, who was in Bangkok preparing for the Thailand Open, cut his R arm today when he sat on, and subsequently shattered a glass table.  He was apparently just bending over to tie his shoes when the table shattered and he was slashed in the forearm.  He has already undergone surgery to repair the laceration, and even though the glass missed all his ligaments, he will still be out for 6 weeks, meaning the rest of the season.  His most recent tweet says it all,  "Worst Day Ever."  Sam was the number 3 seed in the Thailand Open.  So sorry Sam! 

"My body is perfect, no?" I want a healthy Rafa back.

Rafa pulled out of the Thailand Open today due to his abdominal injury that he sustained in Cincinnati and further aggravated at the US Open.

Injury Report: Rafael Nadal and Melanie Oudin

2009 has been full of ups and downs for Rafael Nadal.   The year started with winning the Australian Open, and with many people predicting that he would have a Grand Slam year.  Everything quickly changed after losing in the 4th round of the French Open and then withdrawing from Wimbledon due to patellar tendonitis.
