Maria Sharapova Releases Sugarpova Down Under

Maria Sharapova is one of those rare athletes who transcend her sport. Her personality, business sense, passion for fashion and, yes, good looks have helped make her one of the most recognisable names in sport today. Despite winning a career Grand Slam and having multiple business ventures, including a design gig with Colette Haan, Maria still felt she wanted to do something more. She wanted something that was entirely her own. Hence, Sugarpova was born, celebrating Maria's sweet tooth and love of candy. Far from a girl who adheres to a strict gluten-free, sugar-free diet, Maria admits she always wants something sweet when she gets off the court and felt the world was lacking quality gummy candy. Today she brought the twelve flavours of Sugarpova to Australia, and I was lucky enough to attend the launch.
