Novak Djokovic to Star in 'Expendables 2'

He has had arguably the best tennis year of all time, is the current number 1 in the world, and is GQ's ACE of the Year, but Novak Djokovic isn't done with 2011 yet.  Novak has decided to flex his acting chops and join the all-star cast of the Expendables 2.  Fortunately, Novak won't have invest too much time training for his role because he is playing.....himself!  He was invited by co-producer Avi Lerner to have a small cameo in the film opposite Sylvester Stallone and he has already shot his scenes during a recent trip to Bulgaria.  Are you excited to see Novak on the big screen?

Novak Djokovic: GQ's ACE of the Year

Novak Djokovic has been named one of GQ's Men of the Year, and rightfully so, because in 2011 he has absolutely taken tennis world by storm, winning 3 Majors and becoming the first man not named Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer to end the season as number 1 in the world since 2004.

Novak is the perfect combination of the guy who watches the game with your brother, the guy that has your grandmother wrapped around his finger, and the guy that all your friends want to take home with them.  He's handsome, stylish (most of the time), intelligent, funny, and one hell of an athlete.  Could you ask for anything more?

Video: UNICEF Ambassador Novak Djokovic Visits Kindergarten in Serbia

This is what it is all about - giving back to your community. 

Novak Djokovic was recently appointed the UNICEF National Ambassador for Serbia while in New York for the US Open.  This week, as part of his new role,  Novak visited a kindergarten in Serbia and spent time with children from deprived backgrounds as well as children with disabilities.  Above is the video of his trip, and he looks like he and the children had a great time.  Enjoy!

No1e, Novak Djokovic, is the new ambassador for the car company Mercedes-Benz.  By inking this deal, he joins the ranks of French Open champion Li Na, and 16 time slam champion Roger Federer.  I think he is in good company.
