You Cannot Be Serious! John McEnroe turns 53

In an interview prior to his doubles exhibition at the SAP Open, John McEnroe reflected on his career and how he has maintained a high level of fitness throughout the years.  He is a much more mellow guy at 53 years of age (well.....kind of) but since it is his special day, I think we should pay homage to the original 'Mr. Cranky Pants' and relive one of the most famous outbursts in tennis history.  Happy Birthday!  Enjoy!

Tennis icons Björn Borg and John McEnroe are collaborating on a limited edition underwear line which is due to launch in the beginning of August.   The line consists of 4 different underwear styles, two created by Björn and two created by John, and is inspired by "the golden age of tennis" in the 1980s.

Rory McIlroy Meets Andy Murray and Johnny Mac

US Open Champion Rory McIlory met Andy Murray and John McEnroe today on grounds of Wimbledon.  Rory didn't get the memo that this was a casual affair, but still looked mighty snazzy in his suit and tie.  Perhaps he was on his way to Centre Court to check out some WTA action in the Royal Box.

The US Open Experience Takes Over Times Square June 13th

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., June 9, 2011 – The USTA announced today that the US Open Experience will take over Times Square in New York City on Monday, June 13, as part of its launch to promote the first day of ticket sales for the general public to the 2011 US Open which will be played at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., Monday, August 29 through Sunday, September 11.

Late Night Tennis: Johnny Mac Plays Beer Pong And Will Ferrell Has Hot Hands

Tennis has been a hit on the late night circuit this week.  First Will Ferrell showed up on Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show and did a little funny Dunlop promoting (1:40) and then talked about the interesting way he likes to play tennis called "hot hands."  And then yesterday John McEnroe went on Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel to promote.......himself, (of course) and played a little beer bong.  Johnny Mac wasn't too shabby at it either.  Clearly hand-eye coordination can not only earn you Slams, but also can help get your friends drunk!  Enjoy!
