Laura Robson and Genie Bouchard rock it out Gangnam Style

It must be nice being a professional tennis player...... You're always in shape, you travel the world, you (hopefully) win lots of money, and in your down-time you make HIGHlarious videos like this!  Laura Robson and Genie Bouchard decided to make a video of their "Gangnam Style" and it's hysterical.  Be on the look out for Samantha Stosur to unexpectantly bust out dancing from an elevator (personally it's my favorite part), and for some cute cameos by Fernando Verdasco and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.  Enjoy!

Video: Served by the Best Featuring Ana Ivanovic, Fernando Verdasco, Jack Sock, and Gilles Simon

And now it all makes sense!  We were at the Adidas Sports Performance Store Wednesday showing you behind-the-scenes footage of an Adidas promotional event and now we get to see the final project!!  Six kiddos got the be "Served by the Best" at the Adidas Performance Store, but even before that, they were treated to a tennis lesson by Adidas coach Mats Merkel and tennis player Jack Sock.  Check out the video above (where you can see a funny shot of me at the 1:28 mark standing on a step stool to get video and twitpics! LOL).   Enjoy!

Ana Ivanovic and Fernando Verdasco greet fans in SoHo

I got a chance to watch Adidas film a promo spot with Ana Ivanovic, Fernando Verdasco, Gilles Simon, and Jack Sock at the Adidas Performance Store in SoHo. Everything you see here is just a little behind-the-scenes action, but the edited promo for Adidas will be out on Friday and you will be able to find it here!

Let's get this party started!

Tsonga, Murray, and Verdasco take the Adidas "Keepy-Uppy Challenge"

I have to admit, I had NO idea what a "keepy-uppy" was until I watched this video.   According to Wikipedia (the MOST reliable source) a keepy-uppy is:

Keepie uppie, or "kick-ups" is the skill of juggling with a football using feet, lower legs, knees, chest, shoulders, and head, without allowing the ball to hit the ground.   It is similar to Kemari, a game formerly practised in the Japanese imperial court.

In this video, Fernando Verdasco, Andy Murray, and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga compete to see who can do the most keepy-uppies.   Jo does ok, Fernando blames the slippery floor for his lack of keepy-uppy skills (no, they aren't in Madrid), and Andy........you'll just have to press PLAY!

Fun interview with Fernando Verdasco

If you could switch places with anyone and live their life for one day, who would it be?

It’s tough to say.  Michael Jordan.

What is your favorite piece of clothing?

Jeans.

If you could sit down and have a conversation with 3 people, alive or dead, who would they be?

One is Jordan for sure.  I would say Andre Agassi but now I have conversations with him so it’s not anymore because I speak with him.  But, if I didn’t have the friendship with him that I have then he would be another one.  There are many people I would like to know, um, a great actor for example.

Photos and Video: Fernando Verdasco goes paddle boarding in Miami

I took a little trip today at the Sony Ericsson Open that involved the ocean, a boat, and Fernando Verdasco paddle boarding.  I mean, really, does it get any better than that?  I think that in this post the photos and videos tell most of the story.  Fernando had never gone paddle boarding before and really had a great time.  I'm pretty sure he would have rather stayed in the water than go back to the tournament, and I think most of you would agree (especially after you see the photos) that in a perfect world he would stay in the water all day!  Enjoy!
