Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 11:55AM If Stan wants me to do some push-ups to pump him up, I’ll do that. If he wants me to sleep on the floor of his bed [room] I’ll do that, to keep him warm as we’re both missing our children and stuff, so whatever he wants me to do I’m relaxed at this point.

Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 11:04AM Both Novak Djokovic and Juan Martin del Potro shed tears today in their Davis Cup semifinal tie, Novak cried tears of pain while Juan Martin cried tears of joy.
It was extremely difficult to watch Nole fall to the ground, clearly suffering from both his back injury that he sustained during his run at the US Open as well as the knowledge that fate of his team weighed heavily on his battered body; yet you couldn't help but be moved when Delpo was trying (and failing) to contain his emotions while being interviewed after Argentina clinched the tie with Djokovic's retirement. This is the beauty and the tragedy of Davis Cup. These players lay everything on the line for their team and their country, and as a fan of the game the result is always bittersweet.

Anatomy of a broken bromance: Fer: I'm sorry I'm messing up, but I still love you bro. Feli: Don't talk to me, I can't even look at you right now.
Friday, September 16, 2011 at 4:50PM This post is dedicated to the KING of Davis Cup: David Nalbandian. Nalby, who's career has oft been overshadowed by injuries and is frequently called "the best player to have never won a slam," ALWAYS rises to the occasion in Davis Cup, and now boasts a 33-10 DC record after his defeat of Viktor Troiki today in the first singles rubber of the Argentina vs. Serbia semifinal tie.
