What happens when you get two of the best tennis players EVER on one court? Well, when Roger Federer was finishing his practice on Court 2 and Rafael Nadal was about to start practice on the same court, fans got a special treat! But.....would they see any tension between the two rivals and future Hall of Fame inductees?

We got the chance to attend Maria Sharapova's Sugarpova event at the La Quinta Resort and Spa while at the BNP Paribas Open. First, Maria had a little Q & A for the fans, and after she did part of our Quick Q & A!! She then turned her attention to the VERY long line of fans who had been waiting for quite some time to meet their idol. Our interview and photos of the event are after the jump! Enjoy!

Adidas players Andy Murray and Juan Monaco were both rocking the new Adidas shirt "Prepare Attack Destroy" shirt on the practice courts. So, the question begs to be asked....Who wore it better?

Hey loyal OTGT readers! I know the posting has been sparse since the end of last season. I (Rachel) just haven't had the time to post regularly like I used to, and for that I am sorry. Thankfully, the fort has been held down by the awesome Kait O'Callahan (if you aren't following her on Twitter, you should). BUT.....tomorrow I am getting back to doing what I do best, which is bringing you all the off-court news, gossip, and wacky interviews (with pictures and videos) from the BNP Paribas Open. We'll be your backstage pass to this awesome tournament and hopefully make you feel like you are right there with us. We'll start reporting tomorrow and continue until next Monday, so......hold on to your butts! Let's go!

I had heard repeatedly that the BNP Paribas Open was THE tournament to go to because of it's laid back atmosphere and access to the players. This year was my first time at the tournament and I was extremely excited to go and test this hypothesis. My conclusion? They were so right.
