Video: Michelle Obama, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf For "Let's Move"

Let’s Move! is an initiative created by Michelle Obama to combat the problem of obesity in children.  The USTA recently collaborated with the campaign and created this PSA to promote tennis as one way for children to stay active and live healthier lifestyles. 

Maybe Andre can come back to the US Open as a ballboy, he's pretty good at it!  Enjoy!

Interview With Jerry Solomon CEO of StarGames, LLC About The BNP Paribas Showdown

Tennis will be featured again at Madison Garden Square Garden on Feb 28th with the BNP Paribas Showdown, showcasing the epic rivalries between Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, and Ivan Lendl.   The night, which is part of Tennis Night In America, is the kick off event for a month long celebration of tennis.  Throughout March, the USTA will be holding various Youth Registration Events, which is their largest youth recruitment effort.   I had the opportunity to talk with Jerry Solomon, CEO of StarGames LLC who is the organizer of The Showdown, about Tennis Night in America and the role of exhibition matches to increase the popularity of the sport.

Video: Andre Agassi Needs No Special Effects

This video was created to market the new Head YouTek 6 Star Racquet and in it,  Andre Agassi takes a little dig at Roger Federer, demonstrating his accuracy without the need for special effects (unlike Roger's Gillette video). Of course who knows how many times it took to be able to hit that pole, but, he does it twice in a row for sure, and hitting the pole from in the stands is impressive either way.  I sure do miss him.

Andre Agassi on 60 Minutes: Drugs, Relationships, and Addressing his Critics

Andre Agassi was interviewed today by Katie Couric about his new autobiography "Open" where he details his life in tennis, including his abuse of crystal meth, his failed marriage to Brooke Sheilds, and his obsession with his image, (so much so that he wore a weave when he was going bald prematurely).

He addresses all these topics in the interview, and in addition he addresses the criticism he has received for opening up about his crystal meth use.  The most emotional part of the interview is when he responds to Martina Navratilova's harsh statements about his drug abuse.

Andre Agassi Admits to Drug Use During Career
