There have been some interesting choices for practice gear here at the 2013 BNP Paribas Open. We caught Victoria Azarenka (above) on the court with her Nike two-toned hot pants, and Ana Ivanovic (below) with neon yellow Adidas zebra print hot pants (say that three times fast). So, the question begs to be asked......whose pants do you like better?

Today was the official ground-breaking ceremony for the expansion of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. The expansion will include a permanent Stadium 2 featuring 8,000 seats and two restaurants to overlook both the court with a view of the Santa Rosa Mountains, marquee site entrance from Washington Street, a new shade structure, four new practice courts, and parking for an additional 2,000 cars! Holy Moly!!!
Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Victoria Azarenka, Novak Djokovic, and Ana Ivanovic were all out to participate in the event. Vika and Fed even gave a little speech! Photos after the jump! Enjoy!

The first day of tournament (for me at least) is always about running around, getting your credential, making sure all your equipment made it in one piece, then fretting about what you accidentally left behind, and charging what you have. After all that is done there is little time to actually explore the grounds, but in the time we had we caught up with 3 Serbians, 2 Frenchman, 1 Argentine, and some "Quirky" candy.
Monday, November 26, 2012 at 4:58AM Tennis players are constantly the subject of scrutiny when it comes to what they wear on the court. Male or female, if you’re a top player, you can bet everyone will be giving the thumbs up or down to your Nike duds when a Grand Slam rolls around. Looking at on-court photos, we can deduce that the likes of Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Roger Federer all have spectacular style.
But do they really?
Off-court might tell a different tale. Free from the restrictions of sponsorship, tennis players can choose exactly what they want to wear. And that’s not always a good thing.
On The Go Tennis will be analysing the off-court style of a top player every week. Shoes, earrings, cardigans... nothing will go unnoticed.
Ana Ivanovic is many things - passionate, determined, overly enthusiastic and possibly a bit nervous. But there is one trait all her fans agree on, she's damn cute. Ivanovic's looks are such that they kept her relevant when she dropped out of the top 50. She's always been a fan favourite with a smile that comes easily to a pretty face, and even when she's losing, she's still being talked about. But looks don't buy you fashion sense. And on that note we will embark on what has been a bit of a love/hate relationship between Ana and clothing.
Her best look
Ana has a habit of going overboard, (both with fist-pumps and fashion... more on that later), but the Serbian darling looks best when she appears to have just thrown on any old thing. She doesn't necessarily work high fashion particularly well, but arguably looks better than any other WTA player in a loose gray jumper, simple make-up and basic jewelery.

I would probably be a guy, just to see how they think.

Lately I like to experiment a little, but in general I like to keep it simple, comfortable, classy, not too revealing.
What is your favorite piece of clothing (the one thing you wear over and over)?
Summer dress.

We were at the Adidas Sports Performance Store Wednesday showing you behind-the-scenes footage of an Adidas promotional event and now we get to see the final project!! Six kiddos got the be "Served by the Best" at the Adidas Performance Store, but even before that, they were treated to a tennis lesson by Adidas coach Mats Merkel and tennis player Jack Sock.
