Serena Williams and Aga Radwanska Turn Up The Glam

Could there be a better body image role model than Serena Williams? Essence Magazine doesn't think so, hence they chose Serena to cover their 'Love Your Body' issue. Essence is a monthly magazine for African American women, although I'm sure women of any size, shape and colour can draw inspiration from this stunning cover shot.

Meanwhile, Polish magazine Gala has featured Aga Radwanska in their glossy pages. They've shot Aga in full make-up and glamourous clothes us mere mortals will never get the chance to wear. Needless to say, she looks absolutely beautiful.

Wimbledon 2012: Fashion Hits and Misses

The green fields of Wimbledon separate the pretenders from the elite, and not just when it comes to hitting a ball. Fashion at Wimbledon is a tricky affair; restricted by the all-white colour code, designers can’t rely on unique colour combinations or brights to help their charges stand out. Instead, designers must concentrate on detail and fit to avoid their outfits getting lost in a field of sheep.

Down in Coconut Grove with Agnieszka Radwanska and Juan Martin del Potro

Last night Juan Martin del Potro and Agnieszka Radwanska went to Coconut Grove in Miami to sign autographs and take pictures with fans.  The atmosphere was amazing with a large screen showing promo shots of all the players and a DJ blasting electro-pop to get everyone pumped up.  Juan Martin was really sweet with his fans, especially the little ones as you can see in the photos below.

Quick Q & A with Agnieszka Radwanska

Agnieszka arrives to the BNP Paribas Open Player's Party with her sister Urszula

Agnieszka Radwanska was voted the WTA Fan Favorite Singles Player last year, and after getting the chance to interview her at the BNP Paribas Open I understand why.  The woman is absolutely hilarious.  I mean we laughed, and laughed, and laughed our way through this interview and my only regret is that I couldn't capture it on video.  Just to give you a taste of what she is like in person - she uses a lot of "so, you know" and "actually" when she talks, she talks very fast, giggles a lot, and ends almost every sentence with an upward inflection, as if it were a question.  She is a great personality and absolutely adorable.  Enjoy!

What is your biggest passion outside of tennis?

You know, what I love is also rollerbladding, actually I’ve been doing it since I was a kid, all my life so I love it.  I’m also into things like nails, all this kind of girly stuff.

You always wear very cute dresses.

Exactly.

What is something that annoys you?

I think the most annoying thing for me is the slowest drivers, you know in front of me.  Oh my God, it’s driving me crazy seriously, it’s like - I cannot handle it!  And also, you know when you have a computer and the internet is so bad, it’s like so slow as well, you want to like break the computer right away.  So those two things.
