Novak Djokovic's body is worth $100 million dollars
Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 9:03AM Lloyd's of London Insurance Company is in the business of insuring body parts of celebrities. Mariah Carey famously had her legs insured by the company to the tune of $1 billion (yes you read that correctly) and David Beckham also had his legs insured for $70 million. Other weird interesting body parts that have been insured include singer Celine Dion's vocal cords, actress America Ferrera's smile, 'Girl's Next Door' Holly Madison's breasts, actress/singer Jennifer Lopez's bottom, and NFL star Troy Polamalu's locks.
So the question begged to be asked, "How much would the number 1 player in the world, Novak Djokovic's, body be worth?" and a Serbian website contacted Lloyd's to find out the answer. The result? Novak Djokovic's body would be worth a whopping $100,000 million dollars. They came to this amount by tallying his earnings from last year and then multiplying it by the number of years left until his 33 birthday, with the assumption that he would play until he is 33. Last year he made $11,019.803 million and if you multiply that by 9 you get $99,178.227.
No word on whether Novak is interested in an insurance policy, but with tennis careers often derailed by injury, it wouldn't be a bad idea.
What do you think? Should Nole get his body insured?

I'd say insure his buns for publicity and fun, but it's not his backside that's made him the #1 player in the world.
