Maria Sharapova gets wigged out

Maria Sharapova created a bit of a stir when she posted a new look on her Facebook page with the comment,

So what do you guys think??  I kind of love it!

I thought the short cut looked really cute on her, but I also wondered why she would cut her hair so close to her wedding date.  Was Maria getting into the April Fools' spirit a couple of weeks too late?  According to Just Jared, the answer is, YES.  She told JJ,

I posted the pics from the photo shoot and the story took off.  I love the short hair look but it doesn’t work with my lifestyle.

At the time of this posting, 33,375 people have "liked" her new 'do, so who knows, maybe she'll actually cut it in the future, but for now, she's keeping those million dollar golden locks long.
