Justine and Tsonga Showed Up to Party But Not to Play
Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 11:01PM Justine Henin, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Ana Ivanovic, and Andy Murray were all on hand in NYC yesterday to celebrate the Adidas Baricade 10 year Anniversary. Both Tsonga and Henin will not be playing in the US Open due to knee and elbow injuries respectively. Ana, who was on the comeback trail but then suffered an ankle injury scare in Cincinnati, is scheduled to play on Monday. Murray, who won the Olympus US Open Series this summer, is a major contender to win his first major and pocket an extra 1 million dollars if he does.
My favorite picture is the one where both the boys are chowing down on the cake, and the girls, who must be minding their figure, are empty-handed. I guess that is the price of being slim and fabulous.
