Gonzo, Rafa, and the Rain: Men's Quarterfinal
Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 9:39PM
Rain and wind were the two biggest players in tonight's men's quarter-final match between Rafael Nadal and Fernando Gonzalez. The match was officially suspended during the second set tiebreaker, where Nadal is currently up a set and leads the tiebreaker 3-2. Whoever wins tomorrow will have a tough road ahead; needing to play 3 straight matches in a row to get to the finals. This is probably more of a concern for Rafa who is playing with an aggravated abdominal injury. Hopefully they will play the 1st match tomorrow scheduled for 12:30 pm. To be continued...........
