Fashion Forward: Caroline Wozniacki and Jelena Jankovic

At the Family Circle Cup, both Caroline Wozniacki and Jelena Jankovic debuted their new kits for the clay court season. Caro wears Stella McCartney for Adidas, and JJ wears ANTA. The moment I saw Caro's outfit I really liked it. I liked the fact that the skirt almost looks like a denim material and the orange top gives it a little pop. It's even cuter when she throws on the blue jacket that matches the skirt. The only think I didn't like was the orange shoes. I really don't like "matchy matchy" (a term I've used frequently in my posts recently) and I think it would have looked better if they were just white.

Jelena's outfit was not a hit when I first saw it, but it is steadily growing on me (like JJ herself.) She has one of the best bodies on the tour so it's hard for things to look bad on her. I wasn't really feeling the black pants underneath, however, in her defense it was really cold that night.

In both of their second round post-match press conferences, both ladies thought their outfits were "cool."

I think it's nice. I like that it's a little bit different colors. Normally maybe if I would go out, I would never think that I could put these two colors together and it would fit, but I actually like it. I think it's pretty cool.

It's my new ANTA dress. I've been working with this company for now two years. and you know, I think it's pretty cool. It's a nice color for spring, and I have these flowers, so it's kind of like the spring blossom. I'm blossoming. And you know, I got a lot of compliments for it, so I'm happy with it.
If you like the kits or not, I am really glad that the ladies seem to be taking some risks on court. Even if it is not in their game.
