Business Insider Names Sexiest Athletes

Australian webiste Business Insider has named their top 50 sexiest atheletes, and interestingly enough the list pits men and women against each other. Business Insider said their list was based on looks (duh), dance moves, fashion choices and senses of humour. The also said they picked people that remain relevant to their sport, (and the digs are too easy so I won't go there).

Tennis featured heavily, but unfortuantly my favs Ernests Gulbis (prob not relevant enough) and Juan Martin del Potro (marked down on bubbliness??) didn't make the list. Boo. Instead we got the following:

46. Caroline Wozniacki
41. Rafael Nadal
38. Novak Djokovic (well he is certainly bubbly... but higher than Nadal??)
35. Maria Kirilenko
31. Roger Federer (clinging to relevance... KIDDING. But really, higher than Nadal??)
28. Victoria Azarenka
21. Serena Williams
6. Ana Ivanovic
5. Maria Sharapova

So yup, the girls are as predictable as usual with Maria ranked the most sexy tennis player. But the guys... seriously Business Insider, did you consult hot blooded females for this list or just pick who you liked best? Because I'm pretty sure most women would not vote Roger at the top. No offense to Roger... but there's a reason Armani chose Nadal to model underwear.

So who is the No.1 sexiest athlete?? Well, since this website is Australian it's not a surprise the athlete is too. But it's not undeserved... Adam Scott is, after all, the only man to make golf sexy.

You can see the full list here

In my opinion Rafa is obviously much sexier than Fed and Djokovic combined. So no idea what this is based on. Roger may have the classy looks, I would be okay with him being in the list but behind Rafa. Djokovic shouldn't even be there. So it cannot not really be about looks.

The only reason people like Nadal despite his anti-tennis is his looks. Personally, I don't find him attractive at all. I am a red blooded female who happens to think Novak and Roger are much better looking, as well as being much more talented and likeable (the ability to hit winners is important for me as a tennis fan, as is fair play).

Sexiness is subjective I guess. I would put Tsonga and Del Po in there.

How come Nadal is in the list at all? What a dumb ugly face he has, even after that he would be in the list?? There are plenty of good looking players in the top 100 in the ATP tour, Nadal is the worst them of all!
