I'm hesitant to say it (because I don't want to jinx her), but Dinara Safina might be back. After being sidelined for most of 2010 due to a back injury, and even considering retirement after her embarrassing double bagel loss to Kim Clijsters at the Australian Open, Dinara is now into the 4th round at the BNP Paribas Open, defeating Sam Stosur yesterday in straight sets. Today will be a test of her resolve when she plays fellow Russian Maria Sharapova who has been struggling to come back from a shoulder injury.
All the results from yesterday after the jump!
