I met Robin for the first time at a pre-US Open Nike event featuring Serena Williams. I was trying to vie for a spot close to the stage when I felt someone's camera tap my cheek from behind, (the nerve!) but before I could turn around and rip into the person that was invading my personal space I heard, "Sorry if my camera tickled you" in an English accent, and my less than honorable intentions, (I was having a bad day) melted away on the spot.
I have only chatted with Robin in person twice, but from those two times I am convinced that he is the guy that other guys aspire to be and that girls fawn over. He is reminiscent of a cross between Ryan Gosling and Danny Zuko; fashionable but masculine (he rocks pink shorts yet is a professional BMX rider), confident but not conceited, charming but not pretentious, and did I mention that he has an English accent?
]]>Yesterday we lost arguably the most beautiful and powerful voice of all time, Whitney Houston, at the young age of 48. To pay tribute to the legend, here is a video of her singing her hit 'One Moment In Time' at the opening of the Arthur Ashe Stadium in 1997.

No, Novak Djokovic isn't going to be and waxing his legs (I'm looking at you Feli) or his stomach (I'm looking at you Rafa) any time soon, but Nole did get waxed, in a life-size wax effigy displayed in the wax museum of Jagodina to celebrate his achievements on the tennis court. The sculpture was created by Belgrade sculptor Svetomir Radovic and it is dressed in clothes that Nole has actually worn, and is holding a racket that he has used on the tennis court.

If you could switch places with anyone and live their life, who would it be and why?
I love my life! I did my own choice and I haven't really thought of switching life with anyone else. Even if it's not easy every day, I work on it step by step and you might get reward one day. For me it's the greatest gift, because you earn everything yourself.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I have a sense, I feel if it's right to wear or if it's appropriate. Tough to describe, I kinda go with my flow.
What is your favorite piece of clothing?
To me all of them are favorite! I'm quite picky, I'd rather have quality than quantity.

Buddha, Gustav Klimt, and David Choe.

Earlier this week, a comedy show called Les Guignols (translation: The Puppets) aired a skit where Rafael Nadal urinated into the gas tank of his car to fill it up and then was later arrested for speeding, with the not-so-subtle implication that Rafa's "doped-up" urine would have the energy to power a car.

Novak Djokovic is the 2012 Laureus World Sportsman of the Year, joining the company of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer who have also both won this award. Amazingly, this award has been given to a tennis player 6 out of the last 8 years! Vivian Cheruiyot, a distance runner from Kenya, won the World Sportswoman of the Year, FC Barcelona won the World Team of the Year, and Rory McIlroy, the other half of Wozzilroy won World Breakthough of the Year.
And let's be honest, if there was a Laureus WAG of the year award, it would have definitely gone to Jelena who looked stunning!

At the pre-Fed Cup press conference, members of the US Fed Cup Team: Serena Williams, Christina McHale, Serena Williams, and Liezel Huber, and team captain Mary Joe Fernandez, were asked to make a prediction on this weekend's Superbowl by holding up the jersey of the team they thought would win. Huber was the only one of the team that held up a New England Patriots Jersey (and by God I hope she is WRONG). By the look in Serena's eyes, I think the New York Giants are a sure bet.
So the question begs to be asked - Who do you think will win the Superbowl this weekend?
