Andy Roddick Tries To Outdo His Wife

Andy Roddick ditched his traditional socks and ankle braces for a pair of teeny black ankle socks today in his match against Feliciano Lopez.  The change really had Twitter buzzing, was it really a new look, or a joke?  Roddick won the match 7-6 (2), 6-7 (5), 6-4 and during his on-court interview he was asked about his fashion risk (or faux pas).  

Always the comedian, he said that he's just trying to "flash the calf" because people say his wife, model Brooklyn Decker, has nice legs and he doesn't want to be second in the family.

It's alright. It's better than Fishy. But to be honest, I'd rather see more quad muscles.

Fishy kind of has girly legs, so the socks make it worse. Roddick's legs are more "manly" so it doesn't look as bad. But yes, quads always trump calves. :)
