A Couple Good Days At The Office
Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 11:54AM Novak Djokovic not only became the new Number 1 in the World this week, but he also became the first Wimbledon Champion not named Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer since 2003. When asked how it felt to attain both titles this week, he responded that it had been, "a couple good days at the office."
After match point, Nole did something that I've never seen a player do before, he literally bent down and ate the grass.

When asked what it was like to eat a piece of the well-manicured lawn he said:
I don't know why I ate the grass. I felt like an animal! I wanted to see how it tastes. It came spontaneously. I didn't plan to do it. I didn't know what to do in all my excitement and joy.
Perhaps he was trying to tell us that he wants to be the G.O.A.T. which, if he can continue this level of play is a feasible goal.
I have achieved the two biggest things in my life in the last three days, but I will definitely not stop here. I want to be a tennis champion. This is what I am born for.
And I was born to watch you do it. 48-1 and counting.....
