Esther Vergeer poses for ESPN's Body Issue. Esther's photo will be one of the 6 covers that you can chose from when the magazine hits stands Friday. Venus Williams will also be featured in the article.
Well placed shock absorber, don't you think?
Monday, October 4, 2010 at 2:02PM Rafael Nadal, Gael Monfils, and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga participated in the opening ceremony at the Rakuten Open in Japan.
I have so many questions after looking at these photos and too few answers. Why do they have "play" hammers? What is written on those little wooden boxes? And Oh Lawdy, what did Gael do to his hair? Those braids aren't cute homie.
If you know any of the answers, please enlighten me.

It all started with this tweet:
Maggie, @andy_murray and kims diva dog, is on twitter. Funny stuff. Check it out! @maggiemay_hem
And now Maggie, Andy Murray's cute little terrier, has more followers than me! I guess a dog that can tweet deserves it though, and she is mighty cute.

Her latest tweet:
Getting ignored in favour of xfactor, killing my stuffed pheasant in desperate bid for attention.
Well, I'll take you any day Maggie if you don't mind moving to North Carolina and living with two cats. Just let me know.
Follow her on twitter! @maggiemay_hem
Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 12:15PM Prepare for it people. By the end of the year, Caroline Wozniacki is going to be World #1. I know, I know, *sigh* we are going to have another "number 1" who hasn't won a major, but we've seen it before (JJ, Safina), and them's the brakes when it comes to the ranking system. She's won 5 tourneys this year, and the system rewards people who play, unlike some of her, ahem, mysteriously injured counterparts. She has been consistent when everyone else is faltering, so in that regard, good for her. (Not necessarily good for the WTA)
In other tennis news, Mikhail Youzhny has won his 2nd tournament this year, beating Andrey Golubev in the Malaysian Open Final, and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, who upset Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals, went on to win his 2nd ATP title, defeating Jarkko Nieminen at the Thailand Open.
The China Open got underway today and began with a couple of upsets. Samantha Stousr and defending champion Svetlana Kuznetsova were both defeated in the first round.
